Brief: Hong Kong Airlines Becomes the First Foreign Airline to Fly into Nanchang

July 19, 2007 -- On the 9th July in Jiangxi, Hong Kong Airlines became the first foreign airline to fly from Nanchang, reported Central China Development Web. A Boeing 737-800 was used for the maiden flight, which was 90 percent full, and flew directly from Nanchang to Hong Kong.
The route has a total of 156 economy class seats and 8 business class seats. Its ground services and aircraft services are identical its other international routes and tickets from Nanchang to Hong Kong will be around HK$500. Liu Zengyu, general manager of Jiangxi Airline Corporation, said that Hong Kong Airline is the tenth airline to fly into Changbei Airport in Nanchang, as well as the first foreign one, reported Central China Development Web.
