November 1, 2007 -- The 2007 China (Chongqing) Non-state-owned Economy Development Seminar is scheduled to be held between November 5 and November 6. More than 1200 CEOs from private enterprises from all over the country will gather in Chongqing to discuss the processes of developing a private economy, CQNews reported.

The Non-state-owned Economy Development Seminar is organized by China Democratic National Construction Association, and in previous years has been held in Wuhan, Kunming, Hefei and Xiamen. This time, the seminar will be organized in association with the "China (Chongqing) Private Economy Development Forum," a joint effort of the China Democratic National Construction Association, All-China General Chamber of Industry & Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission and Chongqing Municipal Government. It aims to provide guidance to the government and enterprises with a view to expanding Chongqing's business influence.
