December 6, 2007 -- Vice President of Coca Cola Group, Fei Nan, confirmed that after meeting with Honglin Ge, mayor of Chengdu, on December 1 the company has decided to increase its investment in the city and expand the can production line, reported the Chengdu Daily. Since Chengdu has become the area with fastest growth in sales, and Fei Nan is fully confident in the market, reported the paper.

Coca Cola has set up 27 can filling factories in China. With the increasing investment in Chengdu from Coca Cola, its business has expanded rapidly by way of effective brand building, creative marketing strategy and active sales net.

Fei Nan holds that there's still big room for development in Chengdu and adherin area, especially with the favourable evironment.
