Brief: Chengdu Hoist to distribute traditional medicines in Europe
February 11, 2008 -- Chengdu Hoist is launching a project to market its Sanqitongshu capsules in Europe. The capsules, a traditional Chinese medicine used to treat ischemic stroke, is currently in the Phase IV clinical trial state in China, according to a Chinese-language report in the government-owned Chengdu Shangbao newspaper.
Chengdu Hoist is partnering with Germany's Pharm-Consulting, and Erlangen-Nürnberg University. The partners are currently looking for European approval for the medicine. According to Wang Tianxiang, the president of Chendu Hoist Inc., Ltd., North America will be the next target market for the Sanqitongshu capsule.
